Anduins is a town in the municipality of Vito d'Asio, in the province of Pordenone, between the Tagliamento river and the Carnic Prealps. Other nearby towns are Vito d'Asio, Clauzzetto and Forgaria nel Friuli.
Although not very touristy, this place is capable of offering numerous activities, beautiful panoramic places and an unforgettable holiday at a good price.
From the square of the Parish of Santa Margherita di Anduins it is possible to admire a beautiful panorama that extends to the whole Val d'Arzino, where it is possible to see the Arzino stream which, through a serpentine, flows into the Tagliamento river.
Behind, however, it is possible to glimpse the beginning of the path that leads to the small Church of the Madonna della Neve, through a path of a few kilometers on foot on a vertical drop of about 400 meters. Near this church, inaugurated on 5 August 1946, the" Festa di Mont" is held every year in early August. For trekking enthusiasts, these places offer numerous other paths to follow between the Carnic Prealps and the Val d'Arzino. The heights near Anduins are also ideal for rock climbing lovers.
If the summer is too hot, it is possible to cool off with a bath in the fresh and clean waters of the Arzino. Otherwise, if you are tired and fatigued, you can visit the Cornino Lake Nature Reserve, on the banks of the Tagliamento river, where you can visit a zoological facility that shows and illustrates the animals of the reserve. Furthermore, with the naked eye, it will be possible to see the griffons flying among the surrounding hills.
If, on the other hand, you want to see a unique and natural place, you can visit the Pradis Caves. Otherwise, if you prefer to admire architectural works set in the greenery, you can visit the church of Sant'Antonio and the Ceconi castle in Pielungo, about ten kilometers away from Anduins.
